30D Creative Mandalas For Relaxation and Stress Relief

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Join Sally for a day of therapeutic art and relaxation! Using circular concentric patterns and designs, we will create amazing decorative mandalas on paper. Learn how to add watercolor, ink and markers to decorate your patterns. The process of creating mandalas can be very meditative giving one an escape from the stress of daily life. This could be a great activity for a pd day or possibly a creative math class to show students how to divide a circle into sections.
In today's hectic world, we crave activities that provide peace and solace. This is one of those activities. The habitual practice of the mandala can train a busy mind to be calm which is what participants will learn in this class. You will try to get 2 mandalas completed.
You have a choice if how you would like to do this art class. If you wish to create the projects, you will need the supplies. There are only 20 supply packages available to it's first come first served. You can purchase the supplies be etransfer to sally@sallytowerssybblis.com. They will be mailed to you. YOU MUST OREDER THEM A FULL 2 WEEKS BEFORE the start of the conference or they may not arrive on time. The cost of the supplies is $30 including shipping. Alternatively, you can provide your own supplies. Here are the supplies you will need should you choose to bring your own:
