In this casual, but info-filled half day workshop, Lauren and Bailey will share their tried, tested, and true strategies for infusing tech into their grades 6-12 Classrooms. Expect to leave with not only new resources to access, but with actionable and clear ways to fold technology into your current work. This is more than just a tour of the newest tools available! Together, we’ll consider how to use tech to meaningfully improve our praxis and student learning.
Think of this session like a real life sandbox! There’s clear boundaries (in our case, using tech meaningfully within the core subjects), but what happens within those boundaries is up to us!
Lauren is a science and math specialist, and Bailey is a humanities specialist. Together, they’ll share snippets of info in brief, to the point presentations, and give you plenty of time to play, ask questions, and develop strategies with your colleagues.
Bailey and Lauren both teach in Prairie Land School Division. They have a wealth of experience in the online learning world, both having taught in dispersed, video-conferenced classrooms for most of their careers.
