Does your body feel as if it is storing tension? Can’t sleep because your mind is racing? Is your body achy and fatigued? Too tired to get through the day?
My name is Kati Mackenzie and I am a Registered Reflexology Therapist. I am going to show you how to relieve stress and anxiety by massaging specific areas of the face, feet, and ears.
Whether it is a matter of aches and pains, built-up tension or even sleeping problems, you can use these self-reflexology techniques to tackle some of the most frequent issues with which we all struggle. It will take only 5-10 minutes to feel better during the day. You can even incorporate it into your daily routine, to achieve better sleep and a more relaxed, positive mood and mind frame.
Reflexology is a type of therapy that uses gentle pressure on specific points along your feet (face, hands, and ears) to affect the function and health of different parts of the body. The theory is that the nerve endings are stimulated to activate the parasympathetic nervous system to induce rest and relaxation.
You will receive a body map and a handout (pdf) to remember these reflex areas.
