30D Differentiating Differently in the Elementary Math Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
A major struggle for many teachers is trying to differentiate math instruction in their classroom to meet the needs of all students. What if we suggest you are not tackling this problem from the right angle?

Join Donna and Charlene to see how an entire class of students, even one with widely varying levels of achievement, can be taught the same concept from the same starting point, and then more scaffolding, variations and extensions can be introduced and tailored to each learner as the lesson progresses. We are actually more alike than we are different! Come learn how to shift your bell curve dramatically by offering your students the experience and belief that they can all do and learn “roughly” the same things in your elementary math classroom.
