You need to bring supplies OR buy participant kits from the speaker for some sessions. The session description gives the information to purchase. KITS NEED TO BE PAID FOR IN TIME FOR THE SUPPLIES TO BE MAILED TO YOU. You can filter for these sessions using: Purchase or gather supplies.

Unique Professional Learning and Wellness Opportunity - Guided Fly Fishing on the Bow River

Clearwater Adventures is offering teachers the opportunity to develop and improve their fly fishing skills during a day long guided fly fishing outing on the Bow River, one of North America's finest rainbow trout and brown trout fisheries. We will focus both on the instructional and wellness aspects of fly fishing and hopefully find a few fish in the process. We have 20 years of guiding experience on the Bow, and regularly work alongside anglers of all skill levels, from the highly skilled to those who are trying it out for the first time. We can accommodate 1 or 2 anglers per boat, and we provide all required gear, a deli lunch, non-alcoholic beverages and transportation to and from the river. Rocky View Schools has confirmed that their teachers can access PDLC and Wellness funding to cover the costs of the day. Teachers from other divisions should check with their PDLC and Wellness reps to see if they are also able to access funding.
