Crystal Pelletier
Crystal Pelletier is a designer of professional learning with the Calgary Regional Consortium and the Director of Field Experience at Ambrose University, School of Education. Her areas of focus are Inclusive Education, Literacy, and Education for Reconciliation. A member of the Métis Nation of Alberta, she currently instructs Inclusive Learning and Field Experience courses in Ambrose University’s School of Education and facilitates practicum placements for their students. Crystal grew up in Saskatchewan and spent most of her teaching career with Fort McMurray Catholic Schools. She taught in primary grades and then served as district learning coach for New Teacher Mentorship, Curriculum & Instruction, and Inclusive Education. She is passionate about literacy, inclusion, and Indigenous education.
Crystal Pelletier is an Indigenous educator with 20 years of experience working in Alberta in K-12 and post-secondary education. She is passionate about Education for Reconciliation, New Teacher mentorship, Inclusion, and Literacy. Crystal instructs Inclusive Learning and Field experience courses at Ambrose University and is a Designer of Professional Learning with the Calgary Regional Consortium. She resides in Calgary and can be found on the bike trails in warmer weather!
