Grace Wark

Green Calgary
Green Workplace Coordinator
Since 1978, Green Calgary has been a leading urban environmental charity supporting Calgarians in living a more sustainable life; helping them take effective environmental action in their homes, work places, schools, and communities. They have worked with tens of thousands of Calgarians in leading a greener lifestyle because they know that only by working together can we ensure a healthy city and ultimately a healthy planet.

Grace Wark, Green Workplace Coordinator
Grace has always been fascinated by the nature in her own backyard. Growing up exploring places like Nose Hill Park and Inglewood Bird Sanctuary sparked a curiosity for how wildlife live within our cities and what we can do to co-exist with them in the urban landscape. After completing her studies in Environmental Sciences, Grace spent time working in wilderness conservation, where she gained a strong interest in using community-based tools to support local ecosystems. At Green Calgary, she works with Calgary's communities to promote sustainable ways of living and working in our beautiful city. Outside of work, Grace enjoys nurturing her veggie patch and exploring Calgary's local wetlands.
